Museum Complex Carrier and Service LLC is Europe's first fine art transportation and handling company that is exclusively museum-owned. We offer a complex range of fine art services including bespoke packing and crating, logistics, freight, storage, installation, and the complete planning and organization of both one-off and travelling exhibitions.
Founded by the Directorate of Pest County Museums, one of Hungary's largest museum organizations, we are fully aware of the challenges faced by museums, art galleries and other exhibition organizers. Many institutions cannot afford to employ their own team of specialist experts to organize the logistics of exhibitions and infrastructure development. Our goal is to provide the best possible solutions and professional service to not only our founder, but our partner institutions and prospective clients.
We designed our road freight vehicles, including one of Europe's longest fine art trucks for, using many years of experience and expertise. Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring that these vehicles meet, even redefine, the strictest protection and security standards for fine art, while running reliably and cost-effectively. In keeping with this goal we continue to employ and specially adapt the latest technological innovations.
Our air suspension cargo space is equipped with environmental controls that guarantee constant temperature levels in any season, day or night. At delivery, our clients are welcome to request a chart of the continual temperature readings recorded by our state-of-the-art monitoring system. However, they can examine the cargo themselves at any time during freight on our web interface, which shows the vehicle's position, the temperature of the cargo space, as well as the live feed of the cargo's surveillance camera. Couriers can also monitor the cargo from the passenger cab, thereby avoiding the safety risk of opening it for inspection. For long distance transport couriers' air travel and accommodation costs are covered by us.
Our vehicles are equipped with specialist custom-designed security systems. Satellite tracking and remote disabling systems, in addition to smoke and flame detection, are now basic technologies in professional fine art transportation. Headquarters are also alerted to all cargo openings through a door open alert system linked to our main server, which automatically documents each opening with tamper-proof images. High value cargo is escorted by armed security experts including international SWAT champions. Collections and deliveries are coordinated by an experienced team of museum restorers and photographers.

For crating we design and build tailor-made crates with a bespoke fireproof seven-layer lining system, which maintains temperature and humidity levels through extreme changes in environmental conditions, including during long-haul air freight. For packing we use a range of scientifically tested and certified materials. Our professional staff always work to the highest of standards and take utmost care during packing and crating.
For overseas collections, deliveries and freight, we offer a comprehensive service, including customs clearing, through our network of international art transportation and air freight partners.
The company headquarters in Godollo provide both short and long-term storage facilities, including a safety overnight service. In addition to offices, a display depot and a high security, climate and dust-controlled warehouse, we have four rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a kitchen to accommodate drivers, and provide secure parking for road freight vehicles.
